Xerox is proud to offer more inclusive benefits, an easy new way to choose your benefits, and programs that support all aspects of your well-being. Discover what’s new for 2025.
Bonding with your child is an important part of becoming a parent, and Xerox is committed to supporting you on your parenthood journey. That’s why, effective October 1, 2024, Xerox provides all U.S, non-union employees who work at least 30 hours per week with a maximum of 12 weeks of fully-paid parental leave when they welcome a new child. This includes all genders and different ways of welcoming a new child (birth, adoption, surrogacy, and legal guardianship).
Employees will need to take the leave within 12 months from the birth or placement of the child. The leave can be taken as 12 consecutive weeks or in multiple intervals as small as two weeks. If both parents are Xerox employees, each is entitled to their own 12-week benefit. Employees are eligible for parental leave if their qualifying event occurred on or after July 1, 2024. However, any other benefit payments or time off already received may offset it.
For more information, review the Paid Parental Leave FAQs.
To ensure you get the best care for your needs, if you’re enrolled in an Anthem medical plan, you will be required to use certain facilities — called Anthem Blue Distinction Centers – for bariatric surgeries in 2025. These facilities have met Anthem’s quality and efficiency standards and have demonstrated clear clinical results. Anthem Centers of Excellence (Blue Distinction Centers) enable better outcomes so you can recover faster and stay healthier, which helps you save costs long-term. Please note, bariatric surgeries that are not performed at an Anthem Blue Distinction Center will not be covered by the medical plan.
Although a traditional medical plan covers everyday health care expenses, if you or a family member is seriously ill or injured, you could end up with additional costs you may not expect. For 2025, you can continue to purchase extra financial protection through supplemental insurance plans at the same cost as 2024 but with some great enhancements.
For Accident Insurance, benefit payouts are increasing for many treatments and services, such as emergency room visits, urgent care, fractures, and more. Critical Illness Insurance will now cover diseases such as Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Parkinson’s and will have higher levels of coverage for skin cancer and bypass surgery. Finally, the Hospital Indemnity Insurance ICU daily benefit will increase.
To learn more about these plans, visit the Supplemental Insurance page.
LTD provides financial protection in the event of prolonged illness or injury. You already have automatic, company-paid LTD coverage through Xerox, and you have the option to purchase additional Buy-Up LTD coverage, too. However, for 2025, you can purchase Buy-Up LTD coverage at even lower rates than 2024. For more information on LTD and Buy-Up LTD, visit the Disability Insurance page.
As health care costs have continued to rise in the past years due to COVID-19 and inflation, Xerox remains committed to minimizing cost increases by investing in programs designed to help you access care at affordable costs. Last year, all employees saw a decrease in their medical payroll deductions. Employees were also eligible for additional prescription drug savings with the introduction of Rx Savings Solutions and Prudent Rx.
This year, we’re proud to announce that Xerox is absorbing all cost increases, and your medical, dental, and vision payroll deductions will not change, assuming you remain in the same plan at the same coverage level.
