Overview

At Xerox, we give you the tools and programs you need to transform your life and take ownership of your well-being.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP, provided by Guidance Resources, provides resources to help deal with issues that may be affecting your health, well-being, family life, or job performance. This benefit is completely confidential and available to all Xerox employees and their household members regardless of their enrollment in any other Xerox benefit program.

Using the EAP

  • Guidance Resources provides you and your family with support resources for child and elder care, disability, education, and financial and legal services.
  • You receive up to five sessions for each issue at no cost to you.
  • GuidanceResources® Online provides free information on relationships, work, school, children, wellness, legal issues, and financial issues. Resources include articles, tutorials, videos, and more.

Quit For Life®

You and your eligible dependents over age 18 can enroll in the Quit For Life Program, where Expert Quit Coaches help you gain the knowledge, skills, and behavior strategies to quit tobacco for good.

For information on the program or to sign up, visit the Quit For Life website or call 1.866.784.8454.

Quit For Life and save money

When you enroll in benefits, you need to confirm if you are a tobacco user. If you use tobacco products, you’ll pay a $1,840 annual tobacco surcharge (in addition to higher rates for critical illness insurance). You can remove the tobacco surcharge by participating in the Quit For Life program. If you complete five calls with a Quit Coach by March 31, 2024, the surcharge will automatically be removed.

NOTE: The $1,840 annual tobacco surcharge does not apply to those hired in 2024.
