Regular, full-time employees are eligible for the vacation benefit based on the employee's anniversary in the current calendar year. For more information, review the U.S. Time Off policy (HR 404.5), which can be found on myXerox.
You may use your vacation anytime during the year even if not yet earned. If you separate from the Company for any reason and have used more than your earned vacation time, you will be required to reimburse the Company that time. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are required to use your annual vacation entitlement in the year in which it is earned. The schedule of annual Company provided vacation entitlement is as follows:
Anniversary occurring in calendar year | Weeks of eligible company provided vacation during year |
---|---|
1st through 4th | 2 weeks* |
5th through 9th | 3 weeks* |
10th through 19th | 4 weeks |
20th through 24th | 5 weeks |
25th or more | 6 weeks |
* 4 weeks for employees in Confidential level positions
You may also have the option to purchase an additional week of vacation during Annual Enrollment each year.
Bonding with your child is an important part of becoming a parent, and Xerox is committed to supporting you on your parenthood journey. That’s why Xerox provides all U.S, non-union employees who work at least 30 hours per week with a maximum of 12 weeks of fully-paid parental leave when they welcome a child. This includes all genders and different ways of welcoming a child (birth, adoption, surrogacy, and legal guardianship).
Employees will need to take the leave within 12 months from the birth or placement of the child. The leave can be taken as 12 consecutive weeks or in multiple intervals as small as two weeks. If both parents are Xerox employees, each is entitled to their own 12-week benefit.
For more information, review the Paid Parental Leave FAQs.
